SAP co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe joined the German National IT Summit in Dresden discussing the chances and challenges of information technology with German chancellor Angela Merkel, secretary of the interior Thomas de Maiziere and prominent CEOs of the IT industry as well as deputies of science.
At the same day SAP´s Influencer Summit in St. Clara, California took place. So Jim Hagemann Snabe wanted to take the chance to present all the influencers SAP´s strategy for the future, the goals which SAP achieved in 2010 and what the challenges are for 2011. Therefor SAP TV established with SNG-provider Satcom a Satellite from Dresden to St. Clara, California. Testing the satellite we recognized a delay of 5-6 seconds. So we used the fall back telephone line for audio, which reduced the delay for the spokespersons tremendously. In order to show California the beautiful townscape of Dresden we shot a picture outside and used it as a background for a greenscreen. With that we produced a very well picture and we had a stabile and safe satellite connection during the whole around 45 minutes keynote of SAP co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe.
